Construction Management Services
Contract to Completion
Contract Review
GuardHouse has extensive experience in negotiating, reviewing, and advising clients on construction contracts to ensure:
1. The full scope of work is included and noted to avoid future costs.
2. The terms are in the best interest of the client.
3. Expectations of all parties are clearly identified.
Contractor Management
For Owners and developers, GuardHouse will act as the agent to manage the contractor through the construction project, and ensure that the schedule and budget are constantly maintained, and the final product meets and exceeds the expectations of the client. We also work to manage Owner's direct vendors as required, and assist in the coordination and scheduling alongside the general contractor, to ensure a smooth seamless transition at every stage.
Project Kickoff
Whether your construction project is a marathon or a sprint, we firmly believe the start is where projects often fall behind. GuardHouse has a proven method of conducting kick-off meetings and reviews so all parties involved are on the same page and understand the goals and milestones ahead.
Project Documentation
At GuardHouse, we understand the importance of communication and clarity. That's why we place a strong emphasis on maintaining and documenting all RFI's, Submittals, Change Directives, Change Orders and other required documentation throughout a project lifecycle. We then work with contractors to turn over complete document sets to the client at the end of the project, with details of every major system and building element.
Invoice Review
It's commonly noted that "you get what you pay for", but at GuardHouse, that is one of our cornerstone services. We will review monthly contractor invoices for compliance with the work completed, and ensure the work completed meets with the standards of the industry, and set forth by the contract documents. We make sure that every time our clients release payment, they truly do "get what they pay for".
CCA Assistance
GuardHouse offers CCA assistance to Architects and other design professionals, who either need another set of eyes on a project, or a second opinion on how to solve a specific problem. From RFI assistance to punch list review and management, GuardHouse is here to help.
